Hope Alzheimer’s Center is a nationally
recognized facility devoted entirely to meeting the needs of
people living with Alzheimer’s
Disease and related dementia. Specially designed to insure the
safety, comfort and dignity of our clients, Hope offers a wide
range of programs
and an especially caring and experienced professional staff.

Hope Alzheimer’s Center
Set on wooded grounds in the Oaklawn section of Cranston, the
Center is designed and equipped to resemble a comfortable home
setting --
while also providing private areas for the delivery of medical
services. Bright and attractive, it contains:
- Fully equipped
service and occupational therapy kitchens
- Family-style dining
area
- Laundry room
- Secured patio/yard and gardens
- Hair salon
for men and women
- Comfortable living room and activities
area
- Private nursing area for health monitoring
- Full shower and personal care areas

Team Approach to Care
Hope’s highly qualified staff includes registered nurses,
certified nursing assistants, case managers
and activity program professionals.
Together they offer nursing, medication
management, dietary and personal care services along with plenty
of attention, affection
and support.
Our team approach to care and
case management is focused on preserving the individual’s
health and remaining abilities, emphasizing their strengths
and helping them feel self confident and independent.
These goals are achieved through a variety
of therapeutic activities that challenge and gently stimulate
but are sensitive to individual
limitations.

Care for the caregivers
At Hope we recognize and respect the hard work and devotion of
our participants’ family caregivers and do all we can to
support their efforts. Services available to caregivers include:
