Help
for Caregivers
At
Hope we care about family caregivers -- and do all we can to
put their minds at ease. Knowing
a loved one is having a good day -- being well cared for
and treated with affection and respect -- allows caregivers
to focus on the other important issues in their lives. Taking
a
break often
means family members can do an even better job of looking after
their loved one.
"I
was reluctant to send her at first
but now when my
wife is at the center
I run errands, shop and have
a chance to relax
a little.
She loves the music and other activities,
and I know
she’s
in good hands.
When she’s there she’s safe."
Edward Cornell, Cranston
At Hope, we also offer a variety of programs
for caregivers, including:
- Support groups
- Case management
- Workshops on caregiving
issues
- Special lectures on managing the challenges
of caring for someone with Alzheimer’s
Most of all, we
offer caregivers peace of mind. They know their loved ones
are in a warm and welcoming
place where
their health
is carefully
monitored, where their days are full of pleasant
things to do and where they are surrounded by people who
truly care
about making them
happy.
