Enjoyable Activities
Unfortunately,
many people with Alzheimer’s or similar conditions
may not be able to enjoy the things they used to. Things
like reading
a book, going shopping or playing cards may simply be too
demanding. But, like all of us they need enjoyable things
to do, and that’s
exactly what we provide.
At Hope Alzheimer’s
Center participants’ days are filled
with activities geared to their abilities and interests.
We emphasize each person’s strengths, challenge them
enough to give them a real sense of accomplishment and
are sensitive to each person’s
limitations.
"The
staff people are so well trained
and they have the most wonderful way about them.
The warmth, the caring, they go out of their way
to engage my mother and the others."
Kathy Loiselle, Cranston
