Flexible Services for Family Needs
At Home and at Hope
Hope Alzheimer’s Center is a nationally
recognized facility with a single goal -- making life better, fuller
and more
secure for people with Alzheimer’s Disease and other memory
disorders. Open our doors and you’ll hear music and laughter.
Stay a while and you’ll see smiles as participants enjoy
programs, activities or a cup of coffee with friends at our old
fashioned “lunch
counter.”
"Hope has been a savior
for me and my mom."

North Providence
Set among trees in the Oaklawn section of
Cranston, Hope Alzheimer’s
Center looks and feels very much like a comfortable home. But
every part of the facility has been carefully designed to help
participants
feel at ease and help our staff provide the care and attention
they need.
- A secure and beautifully landscaped yard and patio let
participants walk or relax safely.
- Our Louis Feinstein Great Room
brings people together to enjoy companionship and a variety of
activities and our sunny dining room gives
meals a family feeling.
- There are private areas where out
staff can monitor participants’ health,
help them with their medications and provide personal care.
- And special areas like our lunch counter, kitchen and a hair
salon help participants feel the center is truly a place of
their own.
At
the heart of our program is a caring and professional staff that includes Registered
Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants,
Case Managers,
Activity Program Specialists and professionals form the community.
All of them are dedicated to helping participants enjoy life
-- and helping their family caregivers with support and information.
A Providence Sunday Journal Op-Ed commentary
by Hope Executive Director Cynthia Conant-Arp highlighted the
many demonstrated benefits of our Art Therapy programs. Several
families came to look at Hope and then brought ther loved ones
to us after reading the article. Read
